Sydney - Cities Paintings
"Jorn Utzon argued the building was a sculpture. The harbour agreed."

Sydney wall art, the harbour the architect sketched on a placemat.
Jorn Utzon was thirty-eight, working out of a studio in Denmark, when he posted his sketch of the Sydney Opera House sails. He had never been to Australia. The sails were inspired by an orange he was peeling at the kitchen table. Fourteen years later the building was finished and he had not been allowed back into the country to see it.
A Sydney wall art print in the vintage travel-poster lineage. The Opera House sail-shells at centre, the Sydney Tower above, harbour water with ferries below the skyline, a palm-lined Macquarie Street foreshore, a yellow city bus on a wide avenue. Printed on 350gsm cotton coated archival matte paper or 380gsm canvas, premium box frames, signed and shipped from Bombay.
Goes onto a foyer that opens onto a long view. Lives well in a coastal living room, above a sofa that wants the harbour visible. For a statement wall in a house that has been to the water.

Pakka
2026
We started this because nobody was writing about Indian art the way we wanted to read it.
RareMango began in a one-room office in Bombay in 2022. Two of us, a printer that was always too hot, and a stubborn idea: that Indian wall art deserves a brand that talks about it the way friends talk about it, specific, warm, occasionally wrong, never bored.
Most of what you’ll find on this site is reproduction prints. Museum-grade, framed by our own team, attributed by region and school. Some of it is original work by named artists. All of it is curated, not collected. If a piece is on our site, it’s because we’d hang it on our own walls.
If you ever want to talk to a human about a piece, the WhatsApp number on the package is mine. We mean it.
