Bombay skyline wall art, the city held between dusk smoke and gold-frame restraint.
The Bombay skyline never sits still. At dusk in monsoon, it goes through three different cities in twenty minutes. This print catches the middle one. Smoke-grey buildings, an orange wash sky, a thin gold frame holding the composition the way an editorial mat would in a gallery.
The technique is contemporary abstract collage. Building shapes built from flat planes, the sky behind them rendered in three layers of orange to grey wash. The frame within the frame is a deliberate art-history reference, the way Bauhaus posters used to box their work.
For a workspace that earns the wall. A study. A foyer that prefers Bombay over wallpaper.

Pakka
2026
We started this because nobody was writing about Indian art the way we wanted to read it.
RareMango began in a one-room office in Bombay in 2022. Two of us, a printer that was always too hot, and a stubborn idea: that Indian wall art deserves a brand that talks about it the way friends talk about it, specific, warm, occasionally wrong, never bored.
Most of what you’ll find on this site is reproduction prints. Museum-grade, framed by our own team, attributed by region and school. Some of it is original work by named artists. All of it is curated, not collected. If a piece is on our site, it’s because we’d hang it on our own walls.
If you ever want to talk to a human about a piece, the WhatsApp number on the package is mine. We mean it.
